JL Brenizer, Owner
JL Brenizer is co-owner of Golden Rule Insurance Agency. JL has over 20 year experience in all types of insurance. He specializes in Commercial insurance as well as group health, life and financial services. JL is a certified insurance counselor as well as certified by Life Underwriter Council. In his spare time, he enjoys hunting, flying and spending time at the lake. JL & his wife, Belinda, reside in Edina Missouri as well as Lake Ozark, Missouri.

Belinda Brenizer, Owner/Manager
Belinda is co-owner of Golden Rule Insurance Agency. Belinda has over 30 years of insurance experience and has Certified Insurance Counselor designation. Belinda specializes in commercial insurance marketing as well as agency operations for all the offices. She is past President of the Missouri Association of Independent Agents and is active in promoting insurance industry in Missouri. Belinda enjoys traveling and spending time at the lake. She resides with her husband, JL, in Edina MO as well as their home in Lake Ozark, MO.

Nick Brenizer, Sales & Marketing
Nick moved to the lake after graduating from the University of Missouri. Nick lives in Lake Ozark with his new wife and dog. Although Nick is just getting started he has been around insurance professionals his entire life. He enjoys anything to do with the outdoors.

Angie Jones, Commercial Lines Customer Service Rep
Angie has lived in the Lake area her entire life with the exception of going to college in Springfield, MO - at that time SMSU. She lives in Iberia, MO with her son. She has worked at Golden Rule Insurance for over 8 years.

Lisa Plemmons, Commercial Lines, Customer Service Rep
Lisa is a native of the Lake area. She has been in customer service for over 20 years and has been doing insurance for over a year. She is a member of the Ozark Coast Kiwanis. She enjoys watching sports and going to Nascar races.

Amanda Fagan, Commercial Lines Customer Service Rep
Amanda is a native of Northern Missouri and just moved to the lake from Kansas. She has always loved spending time at the lake and is excited to be back in the area. Amanda has been in the industry for four years, holds a CISR designation and specializes in commercial insurance. She enjoys playing golf, traveling, community events, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. 

Katie Peacock, Personal Lines Customer Service Rep
Katie was born at the Lake and has lived there for the past 23 ½ years. Katie has been in the insurance field for 4 years. Katie’s family consists of her husband and her 2 pets.

Cheryl Gardner, Personal Lines Customer Service Rep
Cheryl moved to the Lake of the Ozarks from Southern California in 1993 and started out in the insurance working for a claims adjustment company and has been around the insurance industry since that time. Cheryl loves spending time with her family, her dog Cheyenne, and being outdoors.

Peggy Lowder, CISR Personal Lines
Peggy has lived at the lake for 12 years, moving from native NW Indiana. She has been in the insurance business for over 15 years and has the CISR designation. When not at work she enjoys spoiling her extended family with great meals and desserts.

Delana Yows, Life/Health/Financial Customer Service Rep
Delana moved to Lake of the Ozarks in 1979 from Lebanon, MO. Delana has worked in the insurance business for almost 30 years. Delana lives in Barnett, MO with her husband Robert and enjoys spending time with their 10 grandchildren.

Andrea Shaffer, Administrative Assistant
Andrea is new to the agency in 2012 and has over five years of office experience. She moved to the Lake area in 2011 with her husband and two sons. She enjoys spending time with her family and likes to read in her spare time.

Ron Hall, Life/Health/Financial Sales
Ron moved to the Lake as a fulltime resident in 1993. He has been in the insurance industry for 30 years starting as a life insurance agent with Equitable Life of New York. Most of his career has been a marketing representative for major companies, like Blue Cross/Blue Shield and Golden Rule Health Insurance Companies. Ron has been an agent with Golden Rule Insurance Agency for over 9 years, specializing in life and health insurance. He enjoys living on the Lake, the people here and especially bass fishing.

Ed Oberste, Sales
Ed moved to the Lake full time in 1995 and currently lives in Sunrise Beach. Ed has been working in the insurance field for over a year. Along with insurance Ed is also a realtor. He enjoys spending time with friends and family and watching football.

Danny McCollum, Sales
Danny began his insurance career with Metropolitan Life Ins. Company in 1979. He has been with Hawkins Ins Group since 1981 and affiliated with the Golden Rule Ins Agcy since 2005. He received the designation of Certified Insurance Counselor in 1986; specializing in business insurance coverages.
